Market of Stars will plant a tree this year for every Tree of Life kimono sold.
The Tree of Life is a timeless symbol that can be found in almost every culture around the world — and represents connectedness, growth, hope, and harmony. Its “fruits” are the fruits of happiness — love, joy, and wonder among them. A dove, the symbol for peace, nests in the tree’s branches. Over a year in the making, our captivating version of the Tree of Life was carefully adapted from an American archival lithograph from 1891. Worn and damaged, the print needed to be reconstructed, repaired, and reworked to restore its vibrant rich colours.
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
